Common Repair Issues

Glass Replacement

When the glass on the device is cracked or missing pieces, it’s possible you may lose all touch functionality. You may also notice the device randomly touching icons by itself. This is also known as “Ghost Touching.” The image may be in perfect condition however, the digitizer has been damaged and needs to be replaced. If your device is experiencing any of these symptoms a new glass replacement will resolve the problem.

LCD Replacement

The LCD is what displays the image we see on a device. When the device suffers severe damage, you may notice lines, discoloration, image distortion or no image at all when attempting to use the device. This is a clear indication the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) has been damaged. In rare occurrences it's also possible to damage the LCD without damaging the glass. If you're experiencing any of these symptoms a new LCD replacement will resolve the problem.

Battery Replacement

Battery life doesn’t remain constant for the entire life of a device – it diminishes slowly over time, as the battery is discharged and recharged. If a device is not fully powering on or the devices' battery icon indicates it's charging when plugged into a charger but still remains to not power on, these are symptoms that the battery needs to be replaced.

Charge Port Replacement

Sometimes confused with battery issues, the charge port is what transfers power to the battery in a device. If the devices' charging icon does not indicate it's currently being charged when plugged into a charger, randomly stops charging or has damaged or burned charging pins, these are symptoms of a faulty charge port. A charge port replacement will resolve this issue. Note: Always try several charging cables or power blocks before assuming the charge port is damaged.

Camera Replacement

Most devices are designed with a front facing camera (selfie camera) and a rear facing camera (higher quality camera). If the devices' cameras are experieincing blurriness, shaking or no image, these are symptoms of a damaged camera. A camera replacement will fix this problem.

Speaker Repair

There are usually two types of speakers on a device, Ear Speaker & Loud Speaker. The ear speaker is most common with private phone calls and the loud speaker is useful for hands-free talking, conferences & listening to music. If the devices' speakers are emitting distortion, crackling or no sound at all, these are symptoms of damaged speakers and a speaker replacement will resolve these issues.

Headphone Jack Repair

On some devices the headphone jack is also sometimes paired with the charging port. If you notice an obstruction inside the port or no sound emitting when earbuds or headphones are connected to the port. The home button is the most used button on a device. Most home buttons are usually on the actual screen of the device. Some home buttons also have biometric fingerprint readers. Liquid Damage
